I live in the DSM Metro, and had to travel to Iowa City for an appointment for my son at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital today. His appt was at 11:20, so after we decided to stop here for lunch. We got seated quickly, and our server was very attentive. Good food, and a good spot for lunch. They also decided to turn one of the TV's onto cartoons, and told me so my son could watch it if he wanted. I thought that was really cool and kind. If we decide on Mexican during our next trip to the hospital, we would definitely return here. We ordered the Birra tacos.

Enjoyed our meal here so much! Great service and terrific food (and big portions!). Rave reviews on the chicken fajitas, fish tacos, and quesadilla Monterrey. Our server, Marcos, was so efficient and helpful and fun!

We love this place! We stop here every time we're in Iowa city! Food is always great, as well as the service! They have a nice outdoor dining area. Come to think of it, I don't think we've ever even ate inside here! They have a huge 4 pound burrito that is very good! My husband and I share it and still have leftovers! My girls love the hard shell beef tacos. They are 5 and 8 and very picky eaters! Considering the price increases everywhere, they are still reasonably priced as far as value for the money. If you're in Iowa City and love Mexican food, I definitely reccomend you try this place out! You won't be disappointed!
